Experience & EDUCATION
Robert Cobb is a third generation Tampa native, living in Hillsborough County. Robert has graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, and has also completed and graduated from the Florida School of Banking. On top of his education, he’s also completed the Dale Carnegie Executive Leadership Training.
Robert has been in banking since 1999 and has experience primarily with community banks and smaller Regional Banks. His broad experience in commercial lending, ranging from credit underwriting, portfolio management, commercial lender, and then leading a commercial lending team has equipped him with the skills to form meaningful relationships and assist clients with their needs.
Outside of work, Robert is involved in the community and is on the Board for The Campo YMCA. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and is a diehard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Robert and his family also have a passion for animals, rescuing senior dogs that have been dropped off and abandoned at shelters. They have rescued and adopted 8 Siberian Huskies throughout the years, currently having 4 ranging in age from 8 to 13.
